Michelle Ham (she/her)

Psychotherapist

Hello and welcome. I'm deeply committed to nurturing your inner well-being and personal growth. It's a privilege to join you on this meaningful journey.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a holistic, integrative, and person-centred framework. I believe in creating a nonjudgmental and empathetic space where we can foster a therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect and understanding. This approach allows us to collaboratively navigate your unique pathway to change.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Social Sciences and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, coupled with over a decade of experience in social work, I've had the honour of working with a diverse range of clients, including children, youth, adults, and families. My passion lies in creating safe and inclusive spaces where every individual feels valued and heard.

As a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, I aim to uphold the highest standards in my practice. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, tailoring our process to align with your strengths and needs.

My approach integrates insights from Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and various somatic practices. This integration ensures that we address the complexities of your nervous system and psyche in a holistic manner.

As a mother of two, I understand the importance of empathy, patience, and compassion. I aim to provide a supportive environment where you feel safe and respected as the expert of your own story. Together, we'll embark on a journey towards healing and transformation, honouring your experiences and working towards the positive changes you seek.
